Before the much anticipated August 13th "World Class Championship Muay Thai" event, Stand Up Promotions will throw an event on July 9th. Rumored for the event is a match up between Shane Oblonsky and Bryce Krause for the MTAA Jr. middleweight title.
Oblonsky is coming off a big win in November of 2010 in which he defeated Xu Yan via unanimous decision. Krause has not fought since a December 2009 loss to Chaz Mulkey, the long layoff was due to an elbow injury.
Sources close to the situation informed Muay Thai Authority that the bout has been agreed to, but that no contracts have been signed as of yet.
