BREAKING NEWS: Malaipet Sasiprapa replaces Aegpracha Meenayothin against Ky Hollenbeck

News broke earlier today that Aegpracha “The Hitman” Meenayothin had withdrawn from his bout with Ky Hollenbeck for this weekend's Push Kick Promotions “Thailand vs. The Americas” event. With so little time before the event, rumors of Cooper Gibson being used as the replacement surfaced, but Push Kick Promotions has confirmed that Malaipet Sasiprapa will instead be stepping in to face Hollenbeck.

Malaipet last fought in June under the Bangkok Fight Night banner, dropping a decision to Chike Lindsay. Malaipet has made it clear that he will fight anyone anytime, filling in on short notice twice in a little over a year. The first was in July of 2011 when he filled in on a day's notice against the highly regarded UK striker Tim Thomas on a Kickboxing card in Las Vegas, Malaipet fought to a draw with Thomas. The second time happened when he stepped in on two days notice to replace Kit Cope against Jose Palacios in November of 2011 at Lion Fight Promtoions "Battle in the Desert 4", Malaipet won the bout by decision.

Malaipet as always is no walk-through for anyone. He is veteran with over 100 fights under his belt and should always be considered dangerous.
