Friday Night Fights returns on June 14th to Broad Street Ballroom in New York. The night's main event is set to feature a bout between Villi Bello and Deshawn Robinson.
Bello will look to follow up his (T)KO victory over Turan Hasanov in April with a win over the hard hitting Robinson. Bellow has gone 4-2 in the last year with his only losses coming to Troy Sheridan in a one night tournament, and the other to Nizar Gallas in France.
Robinson will look to snap a two fight skid when he steps into the ring against Bello. After losing to Troy Sheridan by knockout in the Battle of the Pros tournament last year many expected Robinson to start 2013 with a bang. It seemed like that was going to be the case in the first round of his fight with Liam Tarrant at the Friday Night Fights season opener, but after dominating the first round and scoring two knockdowns, Tarrant battled back and won a decision. Robinson has not fought since that fight this past January.
