Yodsanklai was considered the favorite heading into the SportAccord World Combat games but fighting under the name Yodthanong Phorat, Yodsanklai fell to Artem Levin by points 3 to 2 and finished as the runner up for the gold medal.
Yodsanklai and Levin had met previously in 2008 when they fought K-1 Scandinavia MAX 2008. Yodsanklai won by knockout. Embeded below is the video of the fight. For the SportAccord World Combat games, fighters had to wear pads, shin guards, and head gear.
