Aikpracha Meenayotin wins Toyota Vigo Tournament


Aikpracha Meenayotin  bested a field of eight fighters to win the 154lb Toyota Vigo Tournament, which took place on October 29th in Udon Thani Stadium, Thaliand.

The tournament included representative from eight different countries, with the U.S.A. being represented by Cyrus Washington from Michigan. The entire tournament field included the following fighter:

Aikpracha Meenayotin (Thailand)
Cyrus Washington (U.S.A.)
Thiago Teixeira (Brazil)
Antuan Siangboxing (France)
Denis Oliwka (Germany)
Don Madge (South Africa)
Emad Saber (Spain)
Vahid Rossani (Iran)

Cyrus Washington, Thiago Teixeira, Denis Oliwka, and Emad Saber were all take out of tournament in the first round. Washington the U.S.A. representative lost to Vahid Rossani.

The second round saw Don Madge, and Antuan Siangboxing lose, although Madge seemed to be ahead in his fight with Rossani, what seemed like a freak injury ended his night. Antuan lost to eventual tournament winner Meenayotin.

In the finals Meenayotin was too much for Rossani and claimed his tournament victory.
