Luis Bio wins WBC Muay Thai Mexico National Championship

Luis Bio and Alejandro Nunez competed at the WBC World Convention this past weekend for the WBC Muay Thai Mexico National Championship. It was the first time in the conventions history that a Muay Thai bout was being held as part of the event.

Bio walked away the champion with a 2nd round TKO victory, after using his well rounded arsenal to pick apart Nunez who clearly was not in the shape Bio was. Bio methodically broke him down with a steady attack to the body with kick and punches. The win gives Bio his first WBC title and moves his record to 7-2 while the loss is Nunez first.

Bio will now focus on the upcoming 4 man tournament in China where he will compete for $10,000.
