Results for WCK Muay Thai China Day 2


The WCK ended it two part event with some big names. Aside from the tournament bouts, WBC Champion' Steve McKinnon and Miriam Nakamoto were involved in non-title bouts.

In the 122 lb tournament American Romie Adanza was taking on China's Li Ning. Both fighters had made it to the finals by winning unanimous decisions over their previous opponents. In the finals Li Ning was able to take unanimous decision nod over Adanza to claim him the $10,000 prize and the tournament title.

In the 160 lb tournament American Ky Hollenbeck punched his ticket by stopping his previous opponent via TKO due to knees, while Steve Moxon bested his previous opponent by unanimous decision. Moxon was able to take Hollenbeck to a decision, but the fight went to Hollenbeck via unanimous decision. $10,000 and the tournament title was the reward for Hollenebck.

Miriam Nakamoto defeated Chantal Ughi via unanimous decision, and Steve McKinnon took home a majority decision over Stephane Superrugi.
