Two WBC titles on the line at Lion Fight Promotions "Battle in the Desert 2", including interim world title


Lion Fight Promotions "Battle in the Desert 2" has already caught many peoples attention with its great line up. In addition to bringing the fans a great line up they have now made two of the fights WBC Muay Thai title fights.

Lion Fight Promotions "Battle in the Desert 2" will be a WBC Muay Thai sanctioned event. The main event featuring Kevin Ross vs. Mark DeLuca will put Ross' WBC Muay Thai International Super Lightweight Title on the line.

The co-main event will feature Ky Hollenbeck vs. Gregory Choplin and will be for the WBC Muay Thai World Middleweight Title. Hollenbeck recently defeated #2 ranked Vuyisile Colossa, while Choplin is the #6 ranked Super Middleweight. With number one contender Yodsanklai tied up in the Thai Fight tournament, and current champion Yohan Lidon having not defended his title in over a year the interim title will be up for grabs. The winner would then face Lidon to unify the title.
