Ky Hollenbeck set to defend his interim Muay Thai world title against Simon Chu

Ky Hollenbeck captured the interim WBC Muay Thai middleweight world title this past May when he defeated Gregory Choplin by unanimous decision at Lion Fight Promotions "Battle in the Desert 2". Muay Thai Authority has confirmed with sources close to the situation that Hollenbeck will be defending his interim world title at Lion Fight Promotions "Battle in the Desert 3" August 20th at the Star of the Desert Arena in Primm, NV.

The man trying to take Hollenbeck's title will be UK fighter Simon Chu. Training out of Kiatphontip UK Muay thai Gym in Leeds, Chu hold a record of 28-5 with 17 of his victories coming by knockout.
