Update: Buakaw missing, Aikpracha Meenayotin replaces him against Fabio Pinca

The news regarding Buakaw's disappearance has left Muay Thai fans with many questions. MuayThaiTV.com has confirmed that the fight with Fabio Pinca is officially cancelled and Aikpracha Meenayotin will be replacing him. In addition they informed Muay Thai Authority that several of Buakaw's other commitments have been cancelled.

According to our sources, Buakaw had a falling out with his camp due to monetary issues and differences over his strength and conditioning coach being released. He was expected to board a plane to Japan with the Thai Minister for an exhibition match to help promote some of his upcoming bouts and generate interest, but Buakaw never showed up.

It seems Buakaw has not been kidnapped, as many are assuming, but is missing as a choice of his own. As always, we will continue to keep you updated here at Muay Thai Authority as we receive information on Buakaw's disappearance.
