Muay Thai Combat Mania Pattaya Results: Yodsanklai defeats Kem by knockout

The highly anticipated fight between Yodsanklai Fairtex and Kem Sitsongpeenong took place earlier today in Pattaya, Thailand at Muay Thai Combat Mania Pattaya. The main event featured same day weigh-ins and when it was all said and done it did not disappoint. Yodsanklai surprised many fans when he showed up looking in what appeared to be the his best shape in recent memory, and when it was all said and done Yodsanklai walked away victorious with a brutal elbow knockout of Kem in the third round. The elbow left Kem out cold, and Yodsanklai walked away with bragging rights over his former teammate. Now Yodsanklai can turn his focus to Gregory Choplin for his American debut at Lion Fight 8 January 25, 2013 in Las Vegas.

In another fight of interest to North American fans New York's Jay Matias scored an elbow knockout of his own over Arwut Petchompo in the fourth round.
