Challenger 7 "Heavy Duty" set with 4 pro bouts including the return of Jesse Miles and Hakeem Dawodu vs. Sheldon Gaines

Jesse Miles will return to action after a year long layoff on April 19th at Challenger 7 “Heavy Duty” in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Miles last competed in January of 2012 when he scored a knockout victory over Wattana Sit Jor. Welcoming Miles in his return to the ring will be Italy’s Guiseppe D'amuri, who will most likely try to use his height advantage to try and stifle the technical game of Miles. It should be an exciting main event bout between Miles and D’amuri.

In the night’s co-main event Hakeem Dawodu and Sheldon Gaines will tangle in what is expected to be an exciting bout. Both fighters are coming off exciting knockouts. Dawodu most recently scored a knockout over Thai fighter Rungjara in the second round and Gaines scored a vicious head kick knockout over Sam Poulton less than a minute into his last bout. Dawodu is one of Canada’s top notch young talents, while Gaines is in the middle of a career resurgence. After starting his pro career 0-4, but has gone 5-1 since then with his only loss being a controversial decision loss.

Also fighting on the card will be Sandra Bastian as she takes on Emily Wahby of Italy, and Peter Arbeau will tangle with Dejan Kajic.

Challenger 7 “Heavy Duty” will take place at the Bowness Sportsplex in Calgary.
