Tiffany Van Soest is the face of the female North American Muay Thai scene. Her athleticism and explosiveness make her one of the most entertaining fighters in the the sport today. Van Soest faces Lucy Payne for the Lion Fight women's world featherweight championship at Lion Fight 10 on July 26th and you might notice something different. She will be wearing two pink Pra Jiads. Van Soest normally does not wear the Pra Jiad, a traditional arm band in Muay Thai which is used to bring luck and give confidence.
Van Soest will be wearing one Pra Jiad to honor people who have battled or are currently battling cancer, and another will be worn to honor her friend Jackie Dunn who was recently taken off life support.
Van Soest will face one of her toughest opponents to date in the UK's Lucy Payne. There has been some back and forth trash talk amongst both camps adding to what is already set to be an exciting fight.
Lion Fight 10 will air live on AXS TV.
