Simon Marcus vs. Chidi Njokuani set for September 28th at Push Kick's "Muay Thai World Stand Off Las Vegas"

A few weeks ago Push Kick Promotions announced their next event will be taking place on September 28th in Las Vegas, NV at the Tropicana. Push Kick has now confirmed that the event which is being dubbed "World Stand Off Las Vegas" will feature a main event between Canadian powerhouse Simon Marcus and Chidi Njokuani.

Simon Marcus has had a run of epic proportions since he started fighting Muay Thai professionally. His current record stands at 34-0 with wins over the likes of Artem Levin, Joe Schilling (2x), Kaoklai Kaennorsing, and Dmitry Valent. His most recent victory was a unanimous decision over Olympic boxing medalist Suriya Prasathinphimai at Muaythai Superfight in Thailand.

Chidi Njokuani has mainly focused his efforts on MMA in recent years. His last Muay Thai fight came over a year and a half ago when he defeated Ken Tran by (T)KO under the Lion Fight Promotions banner. Njokuani began training Muay Thai under Saekson Janjira while located in Texas, now fighting out of Las Vegas he trains his striking under Nick Blomgreen at One Kick Nick's Gym. His brother is UFC fighter Anthony Njokuani. This fight is expected to be the toughest test of Njokuani's Muay Thai career as Marcus is considered by many to be the best light heavyweight fighter in the world .

  1. Excited to hear about this event...However, I REALLY WISH promotions would stop booking events on the same day! I WANT MUAY THAI TO GROW!!!

I would attend both Push Kick AND Glory's event.
However, once again that will be impossible.

PS-dear LionFight please do not have an event September 28th!

  2. I would love to see both as well but I must say. Chidi Chidi Bang Bang vs Bad Bwoy is going to be a show. Plus it gives me a good reason to head to Vegas! Can't beat either one. If i must pick on the 27th I'll be heading to Vegas for Push Kick's event.
