Joseph Valtellini scored a huge (T)KO victory over Karim Ghajji this past weekend at Glory 11 in Chicago, IL. The man known as Bazooka Joe has been on a tear since joining Glory earlier this year. He has gone 3-0 since joining the promotion with all three bouts coming by (T)KO.
Glory 13 is scheduled to take place December 21st in Tokyo, Japan. Although no match ups have been announced the poster released by Glory implies that current number one ranked Glory welterweight, Nieky Holzken will be participating in the welterweight tournament. Valtellini has had his eyes set on Holzken and the number one spot in the Glory rankings and the tournament gives him the perfect opportunity to close in on Holzken. If they both do indeed end up fighting in the tournament, a match up between these two should be fire works.
So far no news regarding tournament participants or super fights for Glory 13 have been made official by Glory, but information should be released in the coming weeks.
