Simon Marcus was back in the ring this past weekend at WFL Kunlun Fight in China. This time Marcus was participating in a one night 4-man tournament which also featured Israel Adesanya of New Zealand, Vehas TopKing of Thailand, and Nuerla Mulal of China.
Marcus fought to and defeated Adesanya in the semi-final bout by decision in a close fight that went to an extra round to determine who would advance to the finals. Both fighters left it all out in the ring as they consistently pushed forward land hard punches, knees and kicks on one another. Vehas defeated Mulal in the semi-final by decision to secure his spot in the tournament final.
In the tournament final Marcus and Vehas went toe to toe for a little over two minutes of the first round. Marcus then time a knee to the body perfectly and sent Vehas crashing to the canvas and he was not able to answer the referee's count. An impressive win to end the tournament for Marcus.
