Blade FC 2 is set to take place August 1st at the Ota City General Gymnasium in Tokyo, Japan. The event will feature an 8-man 121 lb (55 kg) tournament as well as a main event bout between Armen Petrosyan and Yasuhiro Kido.
The fight between Petrosyan and Kido is a rematch, the pair fought earlier this year under the Oktagon banner and Petrosyan won a decision in Italy. Petrosyan will be riding a three fight winning streak coming into the bout, something Kido intends to end while avenging his previous loss to Petrosyan.
Petrosyan is best known for being the brother of Kickboxing super star Giorgio Petrosyan, but he also sports an impressive Kickboxing record. He holds notable wins over Dzhabar Askerov, Yoshihiro Sato, and Djime Coulibaly.
