MTA: Can you tell Muay Thai fans a little bit about yourself, such as when you began training Muay Thai, and why?
Brandon: I have always loved Muay Thai, I started training with 4 time world champion George Tsutsui. I was 20 years old, started fighting amatuers kickboxing and was 9-0 before I had my first loss. As an amateur my record was 13-3. I went pro in 2008, I have an MMA record of 3-1, and Muay Thai record of 2-2, and hopefully one day will be a world champion.
MTA: Do you plan on making a permanent move to MMA eventually, or do you plan on fighting both for as long as you can?
Brandon: I don't know. I love Muay Thai, but I can see my self doing both.
It should be a good fight at Buffalo Bill's on Feb. 12th, Shawn Yarborough, is one of the United States top Muay Thai fighters, and a win would be huge for Brandon, but like he said he needs to be ready to go the distance because the fight between these two fighters is going to be furious.
