Thai Fight 2011 semi-finals and finals re-scheduled due to flooding in Thailand


The Thai Fight 2011 147lb (67kg) and 154lb (70kg) tournament semi-finals and finals have been rescheduled once again. The current flooding that has occurred in Thailand is once again behind the re-scheduling. The semi-finals will now take place on November 27th and the finals on December 18th. Below is the official statement released by Thai Fight.

"At present, floods have inundated Bangkok outer suburbs. The majority of the capital, including the business and shopping districts, remains dry. But a mass of runoff water continues to creep into inner Bangkok, the threat is not mitigated. Therefore, THAI FIGHT'S Administration decided to rescheduled for a second time. THAI FIGHT semi-final round will now take place on Sunday, November 27, 2011 from 15.00 -17.00 at the Island Hall, Fashion Island Shopping Mall, Ramintra Road. Whereas THAI FIGHT final round will be rescheduled to Sunday, December 18, 2011 from 18.00 -20.00 at the Royal Plaza (Dusit Palace Plaza or Equestrian Plaza, in front of Ananta Samakhom Throne Hall). We are very sorry for any inconvenience this has caused you."
