K-1 World MAX 2012 Results: Murthel Groenhart wins MAX tournament

The K-1 World MAX 2012 tournament took place yesterday in Greece. The one night tournament featuerd some of the worlds best 154lb fighters including Artur Kyshenko, Mike Zambidis, Andy Souwer and Murthel Groenhart.

When it was all said and done it was Murthel Groenhart who walked away with the K-1 MAX tournament championship. Groenhart left no doubt in anyone's mind by fnishing all three of his opponents. In the quarter finals he scored a head kick KO over Yashuhiro Kido, in the semi-finals he forced a corner stoppage of Mike Zambidis, and in the tournament final he scored a KO over Artur Kyshenko in the third round. Very impressive performance by Groenhart.
