Shane Campbell and Joey Pagliuso score KO's at K-1 qualifiers in Canada

Calgary, Alberta, Canada played host to the K-1 qualifiers Saturday night at the Century Casino. In the main event Canada's Shane Campbell and America's Justin Greskiewicz fought to see who would qualify for the final 16. It took Campbell a little over a minute to let everyone know it would be him. Campbell scored a (T)KO over Greskiewicz at 1:08 into the first round. Campbell has now gone 5-0 since his return to Muay Thai and Kickboxing action in June of 2012 after a three year hiatus.

In the night's other qualifier bout Joey Pagliuso left another victim unconscious. In the second round of his fight Pagliuso scored another vicious knockout, this time over seasoned and highly respected Mukai Maromo. With the win Pagliuso has now won three consecutive fights with his last two being vicious knockouts.
