SUPERKOMBAT World Grand Prix 2015 Final Results: Jorge Loren stuns Andrei Stoica

The Superkombat World Grand Prix 2015 Final took place this past Saturday in Bucharest, Romania. The main event featured Andrei Stoica vs. Jorge Loren for the WKN Super Cruiserweight Championship. 

Loren was looking to collect his second victory over one of the Stoica brothers. He defeated Bogdan Stoica in early 2014 and up next was big brother Andrei. Many had Stoica as the favorite, he was on an 8-fight win streak with half of those wins coming by (T)KO. This fight was over early, Loren struck hard an fast working behind a stiff jab. A left hook connected that stunned Stoica and as he back peddled into the ropes Loren pounced and the referee immediately intervened and gave Stoica a standing 8-count. Despite the fight continuing it was clear this was the beginning of the end for Stoica as he did not seem to fully recover.

A second knockdown came from a right hand as Stoica tried to get aggressive and Loren countered. Stoica stumbled to the mat and was able to get back to his feet to beat the referee's count. A few seconds later Loren knocked Stoica down for a third and final time with another right hand. The fight was waived off immediately by the referee in a great performance by Loren to capture the WKN Super Cruiserweight Championship.

In the night's heavyweight tournament Tarik Khbabez of Morroco and Roman Kryklia of Ukraine met in the final. It was Khbabez who ended up victorious, winning a unanimous decision over Kryklia and the tournament crown.

Glory 25 Results: Sittichai loses controversial decision to Robin van Roosmalen, Petrosyan successful in Glory return

Glory 25 took place today in Milan, Italy. The promotion made it's debut on ESPN 3 with Robin van Roosmalen and Sittichai Sitsongpeenong fighting for the Glory Lightweight Championship in the main event and Giorgio Petrosyan making his return to the Glory ring in the co-main event.

Sittichai Sitsongpeenong looked sharp against Robin van Roosmalen. He delivered a steady stream of left kicks to the body and legs of van Roosmalen with some strong knees mixed in. He controlled the fight as van Roosmalen didn't seem as active as we have come accustomed to seeing from him. He opened up a bit more in the third round but Sittichai dictated the pace of the fight from start to finish. It seemed a new Glory Lightweight Champion would be crowned, but much to the displeasure of the fans in attendance van Roosmalen was declared the winner by unanimous decision with scores of 48-47 from all three judges. Fans booed the decision and van Roosmalen told them he didn't care if they booed afterwards during his post fight interview. Definitely a controversial ending and an unfortunate one for Sittichai.

In the co-main event Giorgio Petrosyan returned to Glory for the first time in two years. Looking to spoil his return was Canada's Josh Jauncey, but despite his efforts Petrosyan was on point. The Doctor was surgical with his strikes. He was very accurate and his evasive defensive skills were near perfect. Jauncey put forward a valiant effort as he did not back away from Petrosyan, but it was impossible for him to land anything significant on Petrosyan while not being able to avoid Petrosyan's strikes. In the end it was a successful return for Petrosyan who took home a unanimous decision victory.

In the welterweight contender tournament Murthel Groenhart and Karim Ghajji met in the finals to see who would win a shot at Nieky Holzken's welterweight title. Groenhart made it to the finals by scoring a stoppage over Nicola Gallo after a knee opened a cut that forced the fight to be stopped. Ghajji defeated Yoann Kongolo by majority decision in his semi-final bout in a very close fight.

In the tournament final Groenhart came out looking to end things early. A right hand knocked Ghajji down and after he answered the count Groenhart went in for the kill unleashing flurry after flurry trying to put Ghajji out, but he was able to survive the round. In the second Groenhart looked a bit slower than the first and Ghajji started to get back into the fight with some nice combinations. In the third round Groenhart and Ghajji went toe to toe and when it was over Groenhart took home a unanimous decision. With the win Groenhart will now face Nieky Holzken for the Glory Welterweight title.

Glory Featherweight Champion Gabriel Varga was unsuccessful in his first title defense. Serhiy Adamchuck was crowned the new champion with a unanimous decision win in what was a close fight.

EFN 3 Results: Sean Kearney and Bow Suweilek win tournaments to advance to King's Birthday

EFN 3 took place this past weekend in Malaysia. There were two tournaments taking place, both in the 154lb weight class. The winner of each tournament would move on to compete in 4-man tournament as part of the King's Birthday in December.

The Group A tournament saw Sean Kearney demolish his opposition to earn his spot in the King's Birthday tournament. In his semi-final bout he put constant pressure on Teerapong Kiatkorvit, eventually finishing him in the second round with a barrage of knees. In the tournament final he faced Aiman Redarmy and it didn't take long for Kearney to establish his dominance. He delivered elbows and knees with bad intentions. It was another barrage of knees that sent Aiman down in the first round and secured the win for Kearney.

In Group B 18 year old Maroof Ozcan scored a fabulous KO over Mostafa Ashouri with a left hook in the second round of their semi-final bout. Bow Suweilek out pointed Vladimir Shulyak in the other semi-final bout to set up the Group B final. Suweilek used the clinch to stifle Ozcan in the tournament final and after controlling the first two rounds Ozcan came alive in the final frame, but unfortunately for him it was too little too late.

Kearney and Suweilek now join Changpuek of Thailand and Gabriel Mazzetti from Peru for the King's Birthday 4-man tournament.

Kunlun Fight 32 Results: Buakaw returns with a KO win

Kunlun Fight 32 took place today in China and it marked the return of Buakaw Banchamek. Stepping in to take on the Thai powerhouse was China's Gu Hui.

It didn't take long for Buakaw to establish his dominance in the ring. He scored a first round knock down of Hui with a head kick, afterwards Buakaw went on the attack attempting to finish the fight. He threw every strike with bad intentions, but Hui made to the second round. In the second round Buakaw started to attack the body of Hui with knees eventually putting him out for good. With the win Buakaw bounces back from his loss to Khayal Dzhaniev at Top King World Series 4 this past July.

In the two fights that were part of the Middleweight Top 16 Tournament Victor Nagbe and Davit Kiria were both victorious. Kiria, the former Glory Lightweight Champion bested Spain's David Calvo, while Nagbe defeated Dzianis Zuev.

WCK Muay Thai Cali 11 Results

 

WCK Muay Thai Cali 11 took place this past weekend at the Hollywood Park Casino in Inglewood, CA. There were three professional bouts on the card and several top amateurs in action as well.

In pro action all three of the bouts ended in stoppages. Francisco Garcia scored a first round (T)KO over Andrew Nguyen. George Garcia stopped Rajesh Narine in the second round, and Brian Del Rosario scored a first round knockout of Chris Minor.

In amateur fight action Natalie Morgan and Janet Todd were both victorious and won IKF Titles. Morgan defeated Venus Anne Smith by referee stoppage in the fifth round and Todd defeated Krystal Khorge by unanimous decision.

Venum Victory World Series 4 Results: Armen Petrosyan, Marcus Fisher win

Venum Victory World Series 4 took place this past weekend in Panama City, Panama. The event was organized by Muay Thai Nights promoter Gianni Carriello and featured a main event bout between Armen Petrosyan and Luis Castaneda.

Petrosyan was in control of the fight being a step ahead of Castaneda throughout. Castandeda tried to come to life near the end of the bout, but it was too little too late. Petrosyan gets back on the winning track after dropping his previous fight in a controversial decision.

It was a huge night for Pittsburgh Muay Thai. Marcus Fisher scored the biggest win of his career when he out struck veteran Marco Pique en route to a decision. Fisher used his boxing to stifle Pique and take home the win. 

Ian Alexander won the middleweight tournament by out pointing Mohammed El-Mir to take home a split decision in the tournament semi-final. In the tournament final he went toe-to-toe with Kader El Kamouchi and the bout was declared a draw and would see go an extra round, but El Kamouchi left the ring not agreeing with decision. He was disqualified and Alexander was declared the winner.

In the heavyweight tournament Claudiu Istrate took home the tournament win. He won a decision in the tournament semi-final over Lucas Alsina, and then scored a third round (T)KO in the tournament final over Rafael De Souza.

Thai Fight Vietnam 2015 Results: Saiyok, Saechai, and Sudsakorn all victorious

Thai Fight Vietnam 2015 took place this weekend in Ho Chi Ming City, Vietnam. It was a line up of the usual suspects for Thai Fight as Saiyok, Saenchai, Sudsakorn, and the Pinto brothers were in action.

Only two of the ten fights ended early, with Saiyok's being one of them. As usual Saiyok came out looking to end his bout and it didn't take long for him to take out Alain Sylvestre. In the first round he scored with nice combination as he backed Sylvestre against the ropes. A right, followed by an uppercut, and a left elbow sent Sylvestre stumbling and he was given a standing 8-count. Afterwards it was clear Saiyok was feeling really confident as he waved Sylvestre in. A massive right sent Sylvestre crashing to the canvas and for good measure Saiyok caught him with a kick on his way down. With the win Saiyok has now won 11 straight fights.

In other action Saenchai won a decision over Victor Nunes and Sudsakorn took home a decision over Nicholas Carter. Antoine Pinto won his bout over Pascal Schroth by decision, while his brother Victor Pinto dropped a razor thin decision to Nguyen Tran Duy Nhat.

Lion Fight 25 Results: Cosmo Alexandre wins Lion Fight Championship over John Wayne Parr

Lion Fight 25 took place tonight at Pechanga Resort and Casino in Temecula, CA. The main event featured a fight for the Lion Fight Super Middleweight Championship between John Wayne Parr and Cosmo Alexandre. 

Parr came out looking to let his strikes fly, but Alexandre was ready for it. He was clearly the more explosive fighter and he capitalized throughout the fight with massive elbows. Parr unloaded a huge flurry on Alexandre in the third round, but most of the strikes were blocked and as soon as Alexandre got free he connected with a nasty elbow that cut Parr on the left side of his head. In the fourth round another elbow opened up a cut over Parr's left eye. It was clear Parr was down on the cards and he left everything go in the fifth round, but Alexandre was still explosive and countered with some brutal elbows. When it was over the judges awarded Alexandre the win and the title by unanimous decision.

In the co-main event champion Jorina Baars won a unanimous decision over Martina Jindrova to defend her title. The bout was all Baars from the start, she was clearly the stronger and more accurate fighter. A sign of hope came for Jindrova in the third round when an elbow opened up a nice sized cut on the right cheek of Baars. The doctor took a look at the cut, but let it continue and Jindrova was not able to capitalize as Baars controlled the remainder of the fight.

Mike Lemaire and Jacob Poss went toe to toe for five rounds. There were swings in momentum throughout the fight and at one point it seemed these two were throwing nothing but elbows and knees. One of Poss's elbows opened up a nasty cut over the right eye of Mike Lemaire in the third round. Despite the cut the fight continued and by the fifth round these two were fatigued. It seemed that a flurry from one might take the other out, but both were able to hang in until the end and Lemaire won a unanimous decision.

Veteran Romie Adanza showed he can still drop the hammer when needed. He was facing Anthony Castrejon and things did not seem to be going his way early in the fight. Castrejon was in control for the the first two rounds, but in the third Adanza started to come alive. As the third round was winding down Adanza connected with a stiff right hand that sent Castrejon to the canvas, the ref started to count and Castrejon could not gather his wits to get up and answer the count. It was another huge comeback victory for Adanza. With the win Adanza has now won back to back fights.

Ming Freeman scored a huge win over Lion Fight regular Jason Andrada. Despite a slow start Freeman picked it up as the fight went on and started connecting with solid shots. He knocked Andrada down with a left and then with only ten seconds left in the bout ended it with a big right hand that put Andrada out. Huge win for Freeman who improved to 4-0-1.

Simply The Best 8 took place in Borlange, Sweden. The main event for the event was for the WKN Welterweight European Championship and featured Sweden's Abdou Karim Chorr vs. Kevin Maertens of France. 

Karim Chorr was able to out point Maertens to capture the WKN 69kg Welterweight European title in a unanimous decision win. With the win he improved his professional record to 26-6.

In other action Meran Zangana defeated Andreas Iversen by third round (T)KO in the final of the 76kg Scandinavia Tournament. Youssef Assouik won the 64kg Scandinavian Tournament after he defeated Jonas Berglund by a third round stoppage due to an injury.

WFL Unfinished Business Results: Mohammed Khamal wins, 3 tournament champions crowned

WFL Unfinished Business took place this past weekend and it featured three tournaments in one night as well as main event bout between Mohammed Khamal and Chahid Oulad El Hadj.

In the main event Khamal scored first round stoppage of El Hadj. The knockout came in the second round and marks another impressive win for Khamal since his return from retirement a little over a year ago.

In the night's 95kg tournament Luis Tavares and Lorenzo Javier Jorge advance to the finals. Tavares walked away the tournament winner after the bout went an extra round and he was awarded the decision.

Cedric Manhoef and Massaro Glunder ended up in the finals of the 70kg tournament and it was Manhoef who took home the tournament victory. Manhoef defeated Glunder by decision in the tournament final.

In the women's 60kg tournament, Ilona Wijmans defeated Orinta van der Zee to take home the tournament win.

In other action Bogdan Stoica suffered a loss to Ibrahim El Bouni after injuring his knee in the first round. The knee injury is expected to keep him out of action for about six weeks.

ACB KB 3 Results: Albert Kraus and Jhonata Diniz victorious

ACB KB 3 took place this on Friday in Romania and featured the final of their 95 + kg tournament as well as a slew of super fights.

In the tournament final Brazil's Jhonata Diniz walked away the winner with a nasty knockout over Valentin Slavikovski. The fight ended early in the first round when Diniz connected with a left hook. Slavikovksi attempted to recover, but the referee waived the fight off.

In other action Albert Kraus won a decision over Marius Tita. With the win Kraus has now won three consecutive fights. Tarik Khavavez defeated Sebastian Cioubanu by decision and Husni Begiri scored a first round knockout over veteran Warren Stevelmans.

Top King World Series TK7 Results: Kem Sitsongpeenong and Khayal Dzhaniev advance

Top King World Series held TK7 today in Ningbo, China. It featured the quarterfinals of the Top King Super Welterweight Tournament.

All of the tournament fights went the distance with tournament favorites Kem Sitsongpeenong and Khayal Dzhaniev both advancing to the semi-finals. Kem defeated Sergey Kulyabu, while Dzhaniev defeated Sergio Mazzetti. Joining them in the semi-finals are Liu Lei who defeated Saeid Chahardouli and Jimmy Vienot who defeated Dmitry Varets.

In the night's non tournament bouts Thongchai Sitsongpeenong scored a stoppage victory over Adrien Rubis, while Rungrat Sasiprapa came up short in a decision loss to Vahid Shahbazi.

Enfusion 32 took place this past weekend in Gent, Belgium. The event featured a main event bout between Morocco's Nordin Ben Moh and Spain's Sergio Sanchez.

The bout between Ben Moh and Sanchez did not last long as Ben Moh landed a knee in the opening round to end the bout in exciting fashion.

In the co-main event Anke Van Gestel defended her Enfusion 61kg Women's Title by taking a decision over Aleide Lawant and in other action Dexter Suisse scored a KO in the third round over Brice Guidon.

Yokkao 14 and Yokkao 15 Results: Saenchai and Singdam Win

Yokkao 14 and Yokkao 15 took place this past weekend in Bolton, England. The events ran consecutively at Macron Stadium.

Saenchai was originally scheduled to face Greg Wootton in the main event of Yokkao 14, but an injury forced Wootton to withdraw from the bout. Massaro Glunder stepped in last minute and showed a valiant effort against the legend, but in the end came up short. In typical Saenchai fashion he was able to be the more accurate and effective striker which earned him a decision.

The co-main event featured Reece McAllister vs. Josh Turbill. The Glory veteran was on point in his bout and scored a (T)KO win over Turbill in the first round.

The Yokkao 15 main event featured the UK's Liam Harrison vs. Singdam Kiatmoo9. The fight went the distance and despite a worthy effort by Harrison he came up short on the judges score cards. The fight was awarded to Singdam who ends a four fight losing streak with the win.

In other action at Yokkao 15 Jordan Watson and Christopher Shaw both picked up wins. Watson won a decision over Jordan Piker, and Christopher Shaw won a decision over Karim Bennoui.

Glory 24 Results: Schilling Wins, Adegbuyi Takes Heavyweight Tournament

Glory 24 took place last night in Denver, CO and fight fans were ready to see Joe Schlling return to the Glory ring. Schilling was originally slated to fight middleweight champion Artem Levin, but an injury forced a change a few weeks back and Jason Wilnis stepped in to fight Schilling.

These two fighters came out looking to cause some damage, both were ripping into each other. Schilling established himself first as he was faster and more accurate. Early in the second round a left hook from Schilling dropped Wilnis. Despite tasting the canvas, Wilnis showed what he was made of by storming back into the fight and hurting Schilling with an overhand right that buckled him. Wilnis seemed to have a chance to end the fight and he continued to attack Schilling who wisely clinched and slowed things down. 

It seemed things were ready for a wild third round, but Wilnis was unable to answer the bell for the final round after he suffered a badly broken toe in the second round. Schilling has now won two consecutive fights  for Glory and if he gets his way his third will be against Artem Levin.

In the night's heavyweight contender tournament Benjamin Adegbuyi and Jahfarr Wilnis punched their tickets to the tournament final by winning their semi-final bouts with leg kick (T)KO's. In the final the two big men didn't slow down, despite seeming fatigued they fought for three rounds and left everything in the ring. It was a close fight and Adegbuyi walked away with a split decision win and a chance to dethrone Glory Heavyweight Champion Rico Verhoeven.

Dustin Jacoby scored a huge win over Glory veteran Wayne Barrett. Jacoby punished Barrett to the head and body throughout the fight. Barrett started to fatigue early and as Jacoby continued to push the pace it was too much for Barrett. In the third round punches sent Barrett to the canvas where he was counted out by the referee. With the win Jacoby has now won three straight, while Barrett drops his fourth consecutive bout.

SUPERKOMBAT World Grand Prix 2015 Final Elimination Results: Morosanu wins by KO, Stoica brothers victorious

SUPERKOMBAT World Grand Prix 2015 Final Elimination took place this past weekend on October 2nd in Milan, Italy. 

In the night's main event Romania's Catalin Morosanu faced Poland's Tomasz Czerwinski. This bout was over quickly, but it was exciting while it lasted. From the ring of the opening bell Morosanu came out looking to end the fight. A little over a minute into the bout he knocked Czerwinski down with a right hand. After beating the referee's count Czerwinski went on the offensive looking to connect with some big punches, but Morosanu avoided Czwerwinski's punches. 30 seconds after the first knockdown Morosanu struck the final blow with a counter left hook that flattened out Czerwinski. With the win Morosanu has now won four consecutive fights.

The night's co-main event featured Andrei Stoica vs. Pavel Voronin. In the first round Stoica looked to work the head and body with punches while mixing in the occasional kick, Voronin looked to attack Stoica's lead leg with kicks. Stoica took over in the second round as his boxing was too fast and accurate for Voronin. In the third round Stoica connected with a knee to the body that forced Voronin to take a knee. He recovered to make it to the end of the bout, but it was clear that Stoica was the winner and he took home a unanimous decision. With the win Andrei Stoica has now won eight consecutive fights.

In other action on the night Bogdan Stoica won his sixth straight fight with a unanimous decision win over Patrick Veenstra and Amansio Paraschiv out pointed Giannis Skordilis to win a unanimous decision.

Warriors Peru 15 Results

Warriors Peru 15 took place this past weekend in Lima, Peru. The night's main event featured Peru's Tristana Tola vs. Argentina's Giuli Cosnard. These ladies came to fight and left everything out int he ring. The fight was a close and in the end the judges awarded Tola a split decision victory.

The night's over attraction was the Super 4 Tournament which featured Teodoro Ccanto, Raul Valdiviezo, Mauricio Henostroza, and Alex Carlos. In the semi-finals Ccanto advanced by narrowly edging Valdiviezo with a split decision win and Henostroza scored a first round knockout over Alex Carlos.

In the tournament final Teodor Ccanto won the Super 4 Tournament by out working Mauricio Henostroza en route to a unanimous decision win.

Lion Fight 24 Results: Hollenbeck vs. Abraham ends in controversial decision

Lion Fight 24 returned to Foxwoods Casino in Connecticut. The night's main event featured the return of American stand out Ky Hollenbeck as he took on up and coming Richard Abraham. Many expected Hollenbeck to run through the less experienced Abraham, but the fighter from Illinois showed some real grit.

Hollenbeck used his usual aggressive style to try and keep Abraham on his heels, but Abraham was more than willing to engage with Hollenbeck as he came forward. Hollenbeck started off slow, but as the rounds went on he got more aggressive. and started landing some nice shots and looked stronger in the clinch. In the second round a cut was opened over the right right eye of Abraham, and in the third round an accidental headbutt opened a cut over the left eye of Hollenbeck. The referee stopped the action to have it checked and the doctor allowed the fight to continue.

In the fourth round Abraham landed a right hand that caused the cut to open again and after a few more seconds of action the referee called for the doctor to check on Hollenbeck's cut. The doctor stopped the bout and it seemed Abraham would be the winner by (T)KO, but a protest from Hollenbeck resulted in the fight going to the judges score cards where Hollenbeck was declared the winner by unanimous decision.

The controversial part of the ending is that typically this would be a (T)KO win for Abraham. If the fight had been stopped when the headbutt first occurred then the ruling of a no contest would apply or if the headbutt had occurred in the fourth round then they would go to the score cards, but letting it continue into another round and the cut opening up again because of a landed punch doesn't fall under that. The ruling should have been a (T)KO win for Abraham due to doctor stoppage. On top of that when the doctor was checking the cut he asked how it happened, if it was a headbutt or elbow. It shouldn't matter to the doctor how the cut happened as their job is to assess if the fighter is able to continue fighting with the cut. How it occurred should have no bearing on the his decision if the fighter is able to continue or not. Unless they have some special rules in Connecticut regarding this Abraham should have won by doctor stoppage. 

In the co-main event Ognjen Topic and Stephen Meleady fought for five rounds as both men looked to capture the Lion Fight Lightweight Title. The first two rounds were close as both fighters exchanged kick & punches, and jockeyed for position in the clinch. Topic began to take control with his boxing in the third round, and in the fourth round wobbled Meleady. It was evident Meleady was tough as nails as he continued to press forward, but Topic got the better of the exchanges. In the end Topic won a unanimous decision and the Lion Fight Lightweight Championship.

Jo Nattawut showed why they call him Smokin' Jo. He successfully defended his Lion Fight Super Welterweight Championship against the UK's Charlie Peters. Nattawut was a bit more aggressive than normal in this fight and it paid off when he scored a third round (T)KO due to elbows. A barrage of elbows knocked Peters down and after the referee started his count Peters signaled he could not continue. Nattawut continues to be undefeated since joining Lion Fight and has now gone 5-0 for the promotion.

In other action Gaston Bolanos remained undefeated with a fantastic finish of Ben Yelle in the second round. Bolanos landed his patented spinning elbow and hurt Yelle which led to the fight being called off. It was another fantastic performance by the young Bolanos.

Chris Mauceri was also in action and delivered the KO of the night. In the third round he landed a brutal spinning elbow on Nicolas Parlanti that knocked him out cold. It was easily the most spectacular finish of Mauceri's career.

Bellator 142 Dynamite Results: Cavalari edges Mwekassa to win Glory Light Heavyweight Title

The co-promoted event between Glory Kickboxing and Bellator MMA featured Kickboxing bouts and MMA bouts. The arena featured a ring and a cage set up. The main event for the Kickboxing portion featured Saulo Cavalari vs. Zack Mwekassa for the vacant light heavyweight championship.

Cavalari had already defeated Mwekassa by KO with a high kick in November of 2014. Kicks would be a huge part of Cavalari's game plan as he came out looking to punish Mwekassa's legs with kicks, while keeping his guard high to defend against Mwekassa's powerful punches. In the second round a high kick from Cavalari connected and sent Mwekassa down, but the referee ruled it a slip rather than a knockdown. Mwekassa looked to punish Cavalari throughout the fight by going to the body with heavy punches, and showed improved kick defense in this bout. 

Most fans were expecting this one to end with a knockout, but both men withstood the heavy strikes from the other and the bout when to the judges score cards after five rounds. Cavalari was declared the winner by majority decision with two judges awarding him the fight 48-46 and the third judge scoring the bout a draw 47-47.

Paul Daley and Francisco Gonzalez were the co-main event in the kickboxing portion of the show. Both fighters came out and put on a show. Daley started the fight of with a kick heavy attack, but Gonzalez was more than happy to counter with punches. They both mixed up their attacks nicely between the head and body. The fight was close, but the judges awarded Daley the win by unanimous decision. With the win Daley has now won seven consecutive Kickboxing bouts.

Venum Victory World Series Debrecen took place this past weekend in Debrecen, Hungary. The event featured two 4-man tournaments at the event. 

In the night's 95 kg tournament Alexandru Burduja delivered the only two stoppage victories of the night. He knocked out Alexandru Burduja in the tournament semi-final and forced a doctor stoppage of Gokhan Gedik in the tournament final.

in the 72.5 kg tournament Mustpaha Haida won a unanimous decision over Benedek Zsolt in the tournament semi-final to punch his ticket to the tournament final. He won the tournament by taking a unanimous decision over Abdallah Mabel.

In non tournament bouts Gabor Görbics defeated Mehdi Zatout by unanimous decision  to win the Venum Victory World Series 67kg championship and Anissa Meksen defeated Sylwia Juskiewicz by unanimous decision to win the Venum Victory World Series Women's 54 kg championship.
