Ky Hollenbeck Reluctantly Forgoes Glory Title Shot for Noble Pursuit

Number 5 ranked Glory fighter Ky Hollenbeck has made the difficult decision to opt out of his Glory 14 title shot against Andy Ristie in order to pursue a passion for helping others through being a firefighter. The Glory title bout against Ristie conflicts in scheduling with important dates of his Firefighter Cadet Program, as reported by Glory Sports.

Hollenbeck confirms that this move does not mark the end of his fight career, but that at the moment he would like to focus on the firefighter program.

Stepping in for Hollenbeck will be number 3 ranked Davit Kiria, a fighter who boasts victories over the likes of Murthel Groenhart, Kem Sitsongpeenong, and Shemsi Beqiri. With a fearless style that includes unpredictable kicks and no hesitation to move forward, fans will still get a match worth viewing in Kiria vs. Ristie
