Aikpracha Meenayothin is set to make his Glory debut at their number 14 event in Zagreb, Croatia. The Muay Thai fighter will be facing established kickboxer Albert Krauss under Glory rules.
The Thai fighter is known for his relentless style, always moving forward, while bombarding his opponents with heavy strikes. Strong with his elbows, Aikpracha will be forced to fight without them under Glory rules, but should nevertheless be expected to bring the fight to Krauss.
The March 8th Glory 14 event marks the first event of the 2014 calendar, as the organization steadily makes their way across the globe.

Don't know why (well maybe I do know why - the money) these Muay Thai standouts are always crossing over into handicap-rule matches. Then when they lose, the other guys go all out advertising that they beat the Thai Champ, blah, blah, blah. Rarely do the K-1 style fighters cross over into full rule Muay Thai. They should come over to full rule Muay Thai for a change. Muay Thai guys have fought under K-1 rules, Sanda rules, etc. And the other guys are always quick to say they beat Muay Thai. The only Muay Thai is full rules. Otherwise, it's another sport. You can use Muay Thai techniques or parts of it in other sport, but a Muay Thai champ defends his ranking in full rules and shouldn't defend it under other circumstances. We don't make UFC champs fight in pure boxing rules even though they use boxing.
