MSC 2 taking place July 25th in Miami, Alan Arzeno vs. Johnavan Vistante set as main event

Mixed Striking Championship (MSC) is back for it's second event this Saturday. MSC 2 will take place at the Bank United Center in Miami, FL and feature a main event bout between Alan Arzeno and Johnavan Vistante.

MSC features "EVO" gloves which are designed by the promotion. At first glance they resemble MMA gloves, but are 8 and 10 oz. The rules allow for punches, kicks, knees and elbows.

MSC president Wayne Bermudez's purpose for the "EVO" glove is to place all competitors from different martial arts on a level playing field since not all are accustomed to the traditional gloves used in Muay Thai, Kickboxing, or Boxing.

MIAMI, Fla. (July 16, 2015) –With its patented “EVO” competition glove and an assembly of combatants from a vast array of striking-based martial arts disciplines, Mixed Striking Championship (MSCFights.com) will continue its bid to provide the most exciting, action-packed sports entertainment experience in world-class, professional martial arts combat sports with its second live event at BankUnited Center in Miami, Fla. on Saturday, July 25, live on Go Fight Live (GFL.tv).
In the welterweight (170 pounds) main event of a9-bout fight card, Combate Americas MMA competition reality series star, and hard-hitting Muay Thai specialist,Alan “The Rebel” Arzeno(1-0, 1 KO, MSC) will square off with battle-tested Johnavan Vistante(0-1 MSC).

“We are excited to be back in action with a fight card that is loaded with some of the best American strikers from their respective martial arts disciplines,” said MSC President Wayne Bermudez, whose promotion allows its fighters to use punches and kicks as well as both elbow and knee strikes in competition.

“MSC is poised to break new ground in the world of combat sports,” continued Bermudez,“with our talent, our matchmaking and, of course, our compact‘EVO’ competition glove that essentially places all of our fighters on an even playing field in the ring, since many martial artists are not accustomed to using boxing gloves.”

Carefully constructed to protect the hands of MSC fighters, the EVO glove is curved at the fingers to provide the feel of a boxing glove, and is fully enclosed at the thumb to avoid eye pokes.  The glove has separate, webbed fingers that are stitched together to enable advanced hand mobility.
