Kunlun Fight 33 Fight Card

Kunlun Fight 33 takes place this weekend in Changde, China. The main attraction at the even will be the four fights of the Kunlun Fight's Middleweight Top 16 Tournament. The biggest draw easily being the bout between Yodsanklai Fairtex and Dzhabar Askerov.

Fight Fans expect Yodsanklai to be the tournament winner, he is currently on a 20 fight win streak and has looked unstoppable. Askerov, however, has been known to play spoiler. He holds some big wins over the likes of Enriko Kehl, Steve Moxon, and Andy Souwer in his career. 

Australia's Steve Moxon will also be in action in the tournament against Enriko Gogokhia. Moxon has had mixed results as of late but is coming off a stoppage win over Tass Tsitsiras. The other tournament fights include Kong Linfgeng vs. Wu Xuesong and Amansio Paraschiv vs. Zhang Chunyu.

Also in action at the event will be Steven Banks as he takes on Xiu Pengcheng. Banks has looked great since making the move to Thailand to train at Phuket Top Team and had a successful outing for Kunlun Fight in his last bout. Valentina Shevchecnko vs. Wang Cong also take place on the card as looks to continue her current reign of dominance in the women's 135lb weight class.

Yodsanklai vs. Dzhabar Askerov set for Kunlun Fight 33

Yodsanklai Fairtex and Dzhabar Askerov are set to fight at Kunlun Fight 33 in Hunan, China on October 31st. Their bout will be part of Kunlun Fight's Middlweight Top 16 Tournament.

Yodsanklai will be looking to expand his current 20 fight win streak. He last competed at Origins 7 in Australia where he defeated Marco Tentori by decision. Yodsanklai has finished 12 of his 20 opponents during his current win streak. The Thai great has revived his career in the last three years and is one of the biggest Muay Thai fighters in the world.

Askerov will be looking to win his fourth consecutive fight when he faces Yodsanklai. In his last ring appearance he won the Kunlun Fight 29 Middleweight Tournament. He scored a huge victory by KO over Enriko Kehl in the semi-finals of the tournament. 

It should be an exciting fight between Yodsanklai and Askerov as neither fighter backs down. Askerov has great boxing and his style is great for the Kickboxing rule set, Yodsanklai has adapted to fighting Kickboxing or Muay Thai rules without and issue and is more than willing to get in to heated exchanges with his opponents.
