Shawn Yacoubian out of WCK Muay Thai bout with Joe Davidson due to staph infection

What was set to be a great fight between Shawn Yacoubian and Joe Davidson at WCK Muay Thai at Buffalo Bills on August 28th will have to wait.

Unfortunately Shawn Yacoubian has been forced to pull out of the fight because of a severe case of staph infection that had him hospitalized for a week and in home health care for another week. In addition to the staph infection, Yacoubian is now having kidney issues due the two weeks of continuous IV treatment.

Yacoubian is clearly not happy with the fact that he had to pull out of the fight.
"I have never caught any infection in the gym all of my years of training along with travels to Thailand & Holland. " said Yacoubian.

It is unknown if a replacement will be found to take on Joe Davidson, but keep checking back for updates.

Below is a picture of Yacoubian's staph infection, as you can see it was pretty serious.
