Kevin Ross - Thailand Blog Part 3

Got some good training in the last few days at the camp. It was definitely weird being there and not training for a fight. Well I mean I do have Saenchai in August but that’s still a ways off. It’s been nice to be able to relax and enjoy the training but at the same time it has been hard to push myself and get the most out of this training.

That show at Lumpini was great, really good fights, Saenchai lost on points. Saw Karahas and Hippy there, well I could have sworn it was them would have bet money on it.

I really enjoyed Sitmonchai, love their style, love being out in the country away from the city and all the pollution, and I really love the food. I’ve trained at 4 different camps in Thailand, all have been great and have had their distinct qualities that made them stand out it really just depends on what it is that you are looking for.

What I really liked about Sitmonchai was that it wasn’t crowded. If you don’t mind being away from the city and the middle of nowhere I would definitely recommend it. It really has a ‘family’ type feel to it. I love their style as well, so for me it was great. Back home now, 7 weeks until Saenchai, craziness!
