Friday Night Fights goes Prime Time

Recently Friday Night Fights announced a deal with SportsNet New York (SNY), however, no details about air dates and times were released. Muay Thai Authority has been informed by sources close to the deal that Friday Night Fights will be airing on prime time three consecutive Saturday's in August.

Starting at 9pm you can watch some Friday Night Fights Muay Thai action on August 13th, 20th, and 27th. SNY is available to viewers throughout New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, and northeastern Pennsylvania on Time Warner or Comcast cable. If you don't live in one of those areas don't worry because SNY can be seen nationally on DIRECTV and AT&T U-Verse.

Muay Thai has been on television in the United States before, but unfortunately it has been during the late wee hours of the night. Everyone has probably been up at around 2am searching through their refrigerator for a late night snack and decided to turn on their TV when they seem some great Muay Thai action. Too bad you're one of about 10 people watching it, but now with Friday Night Fights airing at 9pm on a Saturday it should lead the way to help bring Muay Thai to a broader audience rather than remain in obscurity to the general public as has been the situation before.
