France's Gregory Choplin was called on six days notice to replace American Cyrus Washington at Canadian Fighting Championship 7. Choplin's opponent for the night was Winnipeg's Dave Zuniga in a bout for the IKF North American middleweight title.
Despite fighting on six days notice and facing the home town favorite, Choplin captured the IFK North American title by dispatching of Zuniga in the second round with a knockout. Once again Choplin proved why he is ranked #6 by WBC Muay Thai in the super middleweight division and why he is regarded as one of the best super middleweights in the world.
