Tomonori Sato will be fighting American Romie Adanza on February 18th at Kick to the Future 1 in Tokyo, Japan. Tomonori is the current Japanese WBC International Super Flyweight Champion and will be looking to improve his record to 28-11-3 when he takes on Adanza. Tomonori was kind enough to take some time from his busy training schedule to answer a few questions for Muay Thai Authority about his upcoming fight. As you can see he is direct and straight to the point. No long winded answer just short and sweet.
MTA: Your next opponent is Romie Adanza from the United States, are you familiar with him?
Tomonori: know that he fought with several Japanese fighters including KUNITAKA. I also know that he is a string puncher.
MTA: How is your training for this fight going, is it business as usual or are things adjusted differently according to your opponent?
Tomonori: I have been training on my physicals to be able to do best performance. Off course, I have been training to be prepared for fight with Romie.
MTA: Is there any area in particular you feel you will have an advantage over your opponent in the fight?
Tomonori: Speed.
MTA: You are fighting him in your home country; does this add any pressure to succeed in this bout?
Tomonori: Every fight has a pressure, but since it is WBC International Title which is really big title, therefore I have more pressure.
MTA: Can you give us your prediction for this fight?
Tomonori: Romie comes forward, Then TOMONORI fights back.
MTA: Not looking past your current opponent, but what do you have planned after this fight as far as your career goes?
Tomonori: WBC Muaythai World Champion.

Tomonori: Strongest in the world.
