Liam Harrison and Andrei Kulebin fought the “The Main Event” in Manchester, England this past weekend on March 30th. Harrison one the UK’s top fighters and Kulebin one of the best from Belarus were expected to deliver fire works in the ring. Harrison made sure to deliver as found a kink in Kulebin’s armor and finished the fight in the third round. Despite Kulebin stalking Harrison throughout the fight, he was unable to cause any damage. Harrison on the other hand connected with pin point, laser fast leg kicks as Kulebin tried to back him into the ropes. By the third round it was visually evident that Kulebin’s lead left leg wasn’t going to be able to withstand anymore punishment. Harrison added a few addition leg kicks until Kulebin hit the canvas. The fight was stopped and Harrison defeated Kulebin by (T)KO 27 seconds into the third round. In one of the nights other notable fights, Tim Thomas stopped Andy Thrasher in the second round. Thomas proved to be too much for Thrasher in the second round. After a feeling out process, Thomas began to push forward eventually catching Thrasher with a big right hand that stunned him. Thomas followed up with a second right hand that dropped Thrasher and although he was able to answer the referee’s count the fight was stopped because it was clear that Thrasher was still out on his feet and the fight was stopped.
