Lion Fight Promotions has officially moved their next event to October 13th; the action will still take place at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. Although no fights have been officially announced by Lion Fight Promotions the main event for Lion Fight Muay Thai VII is expected to feature a bout between Atlanta’s Eddie Walker and Joe Schilling at 180lbs. Walker is an ISKA champion and was featured on the Enfusion reality TV show in 2011. Schilling is the interim WBC Muay Thai Light Heavyweight Champion and will be looking to build on his win against Karapet Karapetchyan at Battle for the Belts this past June in Thailand. Both fighters are known for their exciting fights styles and should prove to be an entertaining bout.
The night’s co-main event is expected to feature a bout between Toronto’s Joseph Valtellini and France’s Gregory Choplin. Valtellini will be taking a big step in competition as he looks to start cementing his name in the North American Muay Thai scene; he has ended all six of his pro fights by knockout. His most recent win came against Shawn Yarborough this past March at Friday Night Fights in New York. Choplin has kept busy internationally, he last competed for Lion Fight Promotions at “Battle in the Desert 5” when he defeated Chaz Mulkey by unanimous decision.
