Unfortunately
due to the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy the Warriors Cup XVI which was
supposed to take place this weekend in Rahway, NJ has been canceled. The
news from promoter Chris Tran was made official this morning.
The much anticipated bout between undefeated Brett Hlavacek and Stephen Richards will hopefully be made up at the Warriors Cup next event. The pair was set to fight for the vacant WBC Muay Thai USA National Super Middleweight title. Currently there is no word on when the next Warriors Cup event will take place, but the Warriors Cup XVI was supposed to be the final event of the year for promotion. The match might have to wait until next year.
