Lindsay Scheer, one of America's best female fighters will be back in action on May 18th in Marseille, France at Urban Boxing. Scheer will be competing in a 4-woman one night tournament which will also feature Maria Pantazzi (Greece), Paola Capucci (Italy), and Amel Dalby (France).
For those not familiar with Scheer it is probably because despite her efforts to get on American fight cards promoters have not been very willing to give her an opportunity. She trains at Eric Haycraft's Real Fighters Gym in Louisville, KY. Not being able to get on American fight cards has forced Scheer to take her skills to the international circuit instead. In 2012 she earned a bronze medal in the IFMA A class division as well as competing in the Enfusion tournament. Hopefully Scheer starts to get the opportunity to showcase her skill on the American circuit sooner rather than later.
