The only change since the last update to the middleweight rankings is Shane Campbell moving up to number two and Jesse Miles dropping to number three. Campbell has gone 4-0 in the last year while Miles has only fought once, albeit winning his bout by knockout.
1.
Ky Hollenbeck (15-2-1)
Hollenbeck
didn’t look bad in his most recent fight against Giorgio Petrosyan as part of
the Glory 154lb tournament. Despite being dropped in the opening round,
Hollenbeck seemed to be holding his own in the fight. In the second round a
freak injury ended the bout as he tore his ACL. Now currently on the mend his
return date is uncertain, but don’t be surprised to watch Hollenbeck jump right
back into the mix facing some of the top 154-160lb fighters in the world.
2.
Shane Campbell (48-10) (@ShaolinStyleMMA)
Shane
Campbell has gone 4-0 since returning back to active Muay Thai competition. Campbell defeated Remy
Bonnel at Lion Fight 8 by decision and then won the Journey Fight Series 160lb
tournament by defeating Sean McKinnon in the tournament finals. His next fight
is scheduled to be in MMA and no time table for his next Muay Thai fight is
set.
3.
Jesse Miles (15-3)
Miles
returned to action after a year long layoff with an impressive knockout over Guiseppe D'amuri at Challenger 7 “Heavy Duty”.
Miles has not fought often in the last few years, but is still one of the top middleweights
in North America. His next bout is currently
unknown.
4.
Chaz Mulkey (9-6)
After dropping back to back fights for the first time in over a year, Mulkey bounced back with a (T)KO victory over Kit Cope in the K-1 Max GP. With K-1 continuing to have financial trouble, Mulkey’s next bout is currently unknown.

5.
Troy Sheridan (5-1) (@SheridanMMA)
Sheridan suffered his first professional loss by decision to Shane Campbell in the Journey Fight Series tournament semi-finals. Sheridan is now set to return to action in another tournament as he is a last minute replacement for the Road to Glory USA lightweight (Glory lightweight class is equivalent to 154lbs) tournament that will take place on May 11th in Milwaukee. The tournament will feature some big names such as Michael Mananquil and Cyrus Washington, and good showing will continue to propel Sheridan up the rankings.
