Eddie Walker returned to the ring this past weekend at NFC 67 in Atlanta, GA. Fighting in front of his home town for the first time in nearly three years, Walker ended a four fight losing streak. He defeated Adrian Miles by unanimous decision.
Early on in the fight Walker stalked Miles and it was obvious what the plan of attack for Miles was, leg kicks. Miles fired off quite a few leg kicks early in the first round as a calm and collected Walker stalked him. In the second round Walker got more active and started to let his hands go. Miles was not very keen on exchanging punches with Walker and tried to tie him up whenever Walker moved in. In the third and final round Miles was clearly fatigued and he spent most of the round trying to hug Walker and keep him from opening up. A clash of heads opened up a nice size cut on Walkers head, but despite the doctor taking a look at it the bout went the distance with Walker being awarded the win.
