Lion Fight signs multi-fight deal with Pechanga Resort and Casino


Lion Fight Promotions continues its growth through the United States. This year the promotion made its east coast debut with shows in Connecticut and now they have announced they will be making the move to California as well. 

Lion Fight has signed a multi-fight deal with Pechanga Resort and Casino which is located in Temecula, CA. The first event of their deal is expected to take place on March 27, 2015.

LION FIGHT AND PECHANGA RESORT & CASINO SIGN MULTI-FIGHT DEAL, ANNOUNCE FIRST MUAY THAI EVENT FOR MARCH 27, 2015

Las Vegas, NV – Scott Kent, CEO of Lion Fight Promotions, today announced that he has closed a multi-fight deal with Pechanga Resort & Casino, the largest casino in the state of California, to host LION FIGHT professional Muay Thai fights starting in March 2015.

Appearing on AXS TV’s Inside MMA, Kent stated the first event will take place Friday, March 27 and that the card’s main and co-main event matchups will be revealed soon.

“I’m pleased to announce that Lion Fight and Pechanga Resort & Casino have teamed up to bring Lion Fight’s world class Muay Thai events to fight fans in Southern California,” said Kent. “I would like to thank everyone at the Pechanga for working with me on this deal and especially all of our west coast Muay Thai fans. We’re going to put together an amazing card, and as always, it will be packed with the biggest American and International stars of the sport.”

“We’re excited about our partnership with Lion Fight and look forward to some thrilling events in our 2,000-seat Grand Ballroom,” said Lee Torres, Vice President of Marketing at Pechanga Resort & Casino. “Our live-action sports events are always highly anticipated by guests. As Muay Thai’s popularity grows in the United States, we hope more fans get exposed to the sport by coming to Lion Fight bouts at Pechanga.”

This March 27th LION FIGHT event at Pechanga Resort & Casino in Temecula, Calif., will air live on AXS TV starting at10:00 p.m. ET/7:00 p.m. PT. The broadcast will feature play-by-play and color commentary by UFC Hall of Famer Pat Miletich alongside renowned sports commentator “The Voice” Michael Schiavello.

Next up on the busy schedule is LION FIGHT 19 Friday, November 21 at Foxwoods Resort and Casino in Connecticut.
