Muay Thai Global 5 took place this past weekend in Sacramento, CA. The event featured a main event fight between super heavyweights Panama Tauga and Deutsch Puu. There were heavy punches being thrown as soon as this bout started and it didn't last long. Midway through the first round Puu opened up a cut on Tauga's forehead which forced the doctor to stop the fight.
In other action Eric Luna defeated Spencer Sroeuy after Sroeuy's corner through in the towel midway through the second round after Sroeuy had been knocked down for a second time. Luna was in complete control from the start and dominated Sroeuy in the clinch.
Ming Freeman was also victorious on the night after defeating Bell Tran by third round (T)KO and Carlos Galvan defeated Josh Sandiego by unanimous decision.
