Andrei Stoica vs. Jorge Loren set as main event for Superkombat Word Grand Prix Final 2015

Superkombat Super Cruiserweight champion Andrei Stoica will defend his title against Jorge Loren at the Superkombat World Grand Prix Final 2015 on November 7. The event will take place at the Dynamo Sports Hall in Bucharest, Romania.

The match is being billed as somewhat of a grudge match because Loren defeated Andrei's brother Bogdan Stoica last year at Superkombat New Heroes 7. The title defense for Stoica will be his fourth since winning the title in December of 2013.

Stoica has won eight consecutive fights and his last two title defenses have ended in knockouts. Loren will look to rebound from a loss to Luis Tavares in the final of the WFL tournament that took place this past week.

No other bouts have been confirmed for the event, but there is also a heavyweight tournament scheduled and expected competitors include Maurice Jackson, Nicolas Wamba, Ivan Pavle, and Tarik Khbabez. The full fight card is expected to be announced soon.

Tetsuya Yamato vs. Greg Wootton set for Lion Fight 26

Lion Fight returns to action November 20 with Lion Fight 26. The event will take place at the Foxwoods Resort Casino in Ledyard, CT and will air live on AXS TV. Tetsuya Yamao will attempt the first defense of his Lion Fight Super Lightweight Championship against the UK's Greg Wootton.

Yamato won his title with a first round (T)KO over Kevin Ross in March of this year at Lion Fight 21. He is one of Japan's most recognized fighters an has won four of his last five bouts.

Wootton is the number one ranked UK fighter in his weight class. He fights out of KO Gym and has been in the ring with fighters like Pakorn, Petchboonchu, and Rungrat Sasiprapa.

This should be a nice match up between two top fighters, both Yamato and Wootton are technical fighters than don't mind letting their weapons fly. We could definitely see some massive elbows being thrown in this bout.

Keep checking back for more info on Lion Fight 26 right here at Muay Thai Authority as soon as it becomes available.
