Ky Hollenbeck vs. Shemsi Beqiri and Jamal Ben Saddik vs. Ben Edwards official for Glory 12

Glory has confirmed two more fights for Glory 12 including their main event. Jamal Ben Saddik vs. Ben Edwards will take top billing at Glory 12 in the night's main event. The tournament reserve bout will feature Ky Hollenbeck vs. Shemsi Beqiri. The winner of Hollenbeck and Bequiri would replace any of the winning fighters in the Glory lightweight tournament if they can't continue in the tournament for whatever reason, most likely injury.

Saddik will be looking to avoid a three fight losing streak against Edwards. He has lost his last two fights by (T)KO to Daniel Ghita and Peter Aerts. Edwards will be making his Glory debut and will be looking to build on his current three fight win streak.

Hollenbeck will look to compete for the second time since returning from ACL surgery. His first fight back took place at Glory 10 when he stepped up to face Albert Kraus on short notice, winning a unanimous decision. Beqiri will be looking to end a two fight skid after losing a unanimous decision to Robin van Roosmalen.

As previously announced the Glory 12 lightweight tournament will feature Giorgio Petrosyan vs. Andy Ristie, and Robin van Roosmalen vs. Davit Kiria. Glory 12 will take place Saturday November 23rd in New York.

Match ups for Glory 12 lightweight tournament announced

Glory 12 takes place November 23rd in New York, it was previously announced that their would be a 4-man lightweight (154lb) tournament taking place on the night. Giorgio Petrosyan was the only announced fight until now, joining him will be Andy Ristie, Davit Kiria, and Robin van Roosmalen. All three of the newly announced fighters were in action this paste weekend at Glory 10 with all three of them securing their spot in the tournament with victories. 

Ristie defeated Niclas Larsen, Kiria defeated Murthel Groenhart, and van Roosmalen defeated Shemsi Beqiri. The match ups for the tournament semi-finals will be Giorgio Petrosyan vs. Andy Ristie, a fight Risite has been asking for, and Robin van Roosmalen vs. Davit Kiria.

Giorgio Petrosyan set for Glory 12 Lightweight Tournament in New York

Glory 12 will take place on November 9th at he Madison Square Garden Theater in New York. Giorgio Petrosyan (78-1-1) is expected to be in action at the event as part of the 4-man lightweight tournament. No other fighters or information is available, but Glory has announced that it will be released soon.

Petrosyan has not tasted defeat in his last 42 bouts. 40 of those bouts have been victories for the Petrosyan with one no contest, and one draw against Buakaw Banchamek. The only time Petrosyan has ever tasted defeat was in 2007 by decision against Nothanan Por. Pramuk. Regardless of who else is in the tournament, you can expect Petrosyan to be the tournament favorite.

Glory 12 is expected to air live on Spike TV.

Road to Glory Lightweight Tournament Results: Michael Mananquil last man standing

The Road to Glory lightweight tournament took place last night in Milwaukee, WI and when it was over Michael Mananquil was the last man standing. Mananquil's night started off with a split decision win over Jameel Massouh, which he then followed up with a head kick knockout of Muhsin Corbbrey. In the tournament final Mananquil squared off against Troy Sheridan, who had defeated each Cyrus Washington and Jose Palacios by unanimous decision to punch his ticket to the tournament final. 

In the tournament final Mananquil and Sherdian were involved in an action packed fight that was close from start to finish. Both fighters left it all in the ring in hopes of earning an Glory contract and the $20,000 grand prize. When it was over the judges awarded the bout to Mananquil, with all three judges scoring the fight 29-28. 

With the win Mananquil now joins Dustin Jacoby, Mike Lemaire, and Francois Ambang as the Road to Glory USA tournament winners.

Match ups for Road to Glory lightweight tournament tomorrow in Milwaukee

The Road to Glory lightweight tournament is scheduled for tomorrow, May 11th in Milwaukee, WI. The event will be part of NAFC “Knockout Kings”. The eight fighter competing in the tournament for the $20,000 grand prize and a Glory contract are Cyrus Washington, Troy Sheridan, Michael Mananquil, Muhsin Corbbrey, Dustin Johnson, Jose Palacios, Ben Yelle, and Jameel Massouh

The weigh-ins took place today and the match ups for the opening round will be Michael Mananquil vs. Jameel Massouh, Muhsin Corbbrey vs. Dustin Johnson, Jose Palacios vs. Ben Yelle, and Troy Sheridan vs. Cyrus Washington. A reserve bout featuring Gustavo Rodriguez and Jon Henderson will also take place.

Previous Road to Glory tournament winners include Dustin Jacoby, Mike Lemaire, and Francois Ambang.
