Venum Victory World Series Debrecen Results


Venum Victory World Series Debrecen took place this past weekend in Debrecen, Hungary. The event featured two 4-man tournaments at the event. 

In the night's 95 kg tournament Alexandru Burduja delivered the only two stoppage victories of the night. He knocked out Alexandru Burduja in the tournament semi-final and forced a doctor stoppage of Gokhan Gedik in the tournament final.

in the 72.5 kg tournament Mustpaha Haida won a unanimous decision over Benedek Zsolt in the tournament semi-final to punch his ticket to the tournament final. He won the tournament by taking a unanimous decision over Abdallah Mabel.

In non tournament bouts Gabor Görbics defeated Mehdi Zatout by unanimous decision  to win the Venum Victory World Series 67kg championship and Anissa Meksen defeated Sylwia Juskiewicz by unanimous decision to win the Venum Victory World Series Women's 54 kg championship.

Mehdi Zatout vs. Gàbor Gorbics set as main event for Venum Victory World Series Debrecen, two 4-man tournaments set


Venum Victory World Series is set for August 22nd at Főnix Hall in Debrecen, Hungary. There will be two tournaments on the night, a heavyweight tournament which will feature Gokhan Gedik vs. Kryspin Kalski  and Many Payet vs. Gyorgy Mihalik. The other tournament will be in the middleweight division and feature semi-final match ups of Mustapha Haida vs. Benedek Zsolt and Abdallah Mabel vs. Norbert Balogh.

Other bouts taking place on the night will feature Medhi Zatout vs. Gàbor Gorbics and Sylwia Juskiewicz vs. Anissa Meksen. All of the bouts will be contested under Kickboxing rules.

Kunlun Fight 21 Set

Kunlun Fight 21 is set for another full card in a series of quality lineups for Tuesday the 17th, at 15:30 GMT +8.  Taking place in Sanya Island, China the card features the likes of Hesdy Gerges and Jahfarr Wilnis, veteran fighters who've recently come through Glory World Series and North American talents Cyrus Washington and Steven Banks. Also featured on the card is Juri Kehl, brother of 2014 K-1 Champion Enriko Kehl.
