There was Muay Thai action in China to ring in the new year as WCK Muay Thai held a small event which featured Muay Thai and MMA. American's Shane Oblonsky from Seal Beach, CA and Chike Lindsay from Atlanta, GA were in action on the fight card.
Both fighters came up short on the night as Oblonsky dropped a unanimous decision to his opponent Zhipeng Zhou from China. The fight was a re-match of their October 2011 fight in Las Vegas, a bout which Oblonsky won by split decision.
Lindsay who won the WBC Muay Thai international title in his previous fight was knocked out in the second round by China's Wang Wei. The fight was Lindsay's second in four months after not fighting in over a year and a half.
