Muay Thai is Life reported yesterday (4/20) that Rami Ibrahim and Ognjen Topic are set to fight on June 2nd, 2012 at the CSC 33 "Battleware Fighting Championships" event in Richmond, Virginia. On the line at the event will be the first ever WKA USA Full Thai Rules Pro Title.
Ibrahim is a seasoned veteran that has mixed it up in the ring with some of North America’s best fighters. Known for his excellent boxing skills, he will be looking to get back on the winning track after dropping a majority decision back in November of 2011 to Coke Chunhawat at Lion Fight Promotions “Battle in the Desert 4”.
Topic, the winner of Muay Thai Authority’s 2011 “Rookie of the Year” award will be looking to win this third consecutive fight. Most recently he defeated Josh Sampo at Friday Night Fights Muay Thai March 9th event in New York. Topic is known for his traditional Thai style and his pin point accuracy. It should be interesting to see how it matches up against Ibrahim’s boxing skills.

This should be a good clash of styles. Ognjen has a superb smooth "Thai" style and Rami is agressive and likes those punches and lowkicks, he recently Marc DeLuca who also fights in a similar relaxed defensive style, interested to see if he can do the same to Topic.
