Trevor Smandych’s Journey Fight Series returns on September 8th with its seventh installment. Journey Fight Series VII will take place in Calgary, Canada and will feature the 160lb tournament opening round bout between Sean McKinnon and Daniel Kim. The bout was originally scheduled for Journey Fight Series VI, but was postponed due to Kim not having all of his medical work complete. The winner will then meet Preston Baptiste in October.
Also on the card Nate Smandych will be looking to get back on the winning track after dropping a hard fought split decision to Sheldon Gaines at Journey Fight Series VI when he takes on Sean Kearney.
Jessica Gladstone will round out the portion on the pro card, but is currently waiting for her opponent to be announced.
