Results and Recap: Bangkok Fight Night "Atlanta Grand Prix"

Bangkok Fight Night: Atlanta GP took place on Friday, September 28th and the fans were treated to an exciting Muay Thai fight between Anthony Nieves and Steve Hall. Nieves came out looking great in the opening round, using his clinch to score with several knees and elbows through the first round.

In the second round Hall did a good job avoiding the clinch and keeping Nieves at a distance. Nieves was more than willing to trade as he looked for the clinch, but Hall was clearly aware that the clinch was where Nieves wanted to take the fight. Hall unloaded a flurry of punches to the body and head of Nieves forcing him to take a knee. The referee gave Nieves a standing eight count and when the fight resumed Nieves made sure to get back to the clinch that was so successful in the opening round. In the third and final round Nieves and Hall continued to go at one another with both landing solid shots. It was a close fight, but the eight count Nieves was forced to take was clearly a difference make as Hall took home a Majority decision.
