Take-On XXIII Results: Martinez avenges loss to Greskiewicz

Take-On XXIII took place last night in New York and the main event featured a rematch between Justin Greskiewicz and Eddie Martinez. When the pair fought before, the fight went down to the wire with Greskiewicz winning a close split decision. The fight went the distance again, but this time Martinez make sure to put enough distance between them on the score cards so that he would be the clear cut winner. 

In the first round Martinez was able to score two eight counts on Greskiewicz, both times with punches to the body. With a big lead on the score cards after the first round it would be hard for Greskiewicz to rally and win this fight on the judges  score cards. Despite his effort Martinez was on point last night and looked good the entire fight. When it went to the judges there was no question as to who would win the fight. When the official announcement made it was unanimous in the favor of Martinez. With the win Martinez also becomes the WKA New York State Welterweight Champion.
