Glory 14 Zagreb Complete Fight Card

Glory 14 completes their March 8th Zagreb, Croatia card with further changes to their middleweight tournament and super fight series.  Alex Pereira replaces Robert Thomas in facing Dustin Jacoby in the semi-finals of the middleweight tournament, while bouts Mladen Brestovac vs. Jahfarr Wilnis, Benjamin Adegbuy vs. Jamal Ben Saddik, and Albert Krauss vs. Aikpracha are added to the superfight series.

Aikpracha to Make Glory Kickboxing Debut

Aikpracha Meenayothin is set to make his Glory debut at their number 14 event in Zagreb, Croatia. The Muay Thai fighter will be facing established kickboxer Albert Krauss under Glory rules. 

The Thai fighter is known for his relentless style, always moving forward, while bombarding his opponents with heavy strikes. Strong with his elbows, Aikpracha will be forced to fight without them under Glory rules, but should nevertheless be expected to bring the fight to Krauss.

The March 8th Glory 14 event marks the first event of the 2014 calendar, as the organization steadily makes their way across the globe.

Le Nuit Des Titans 2013 Results: Karim Ghajji KO's Aikpracha Meenayothin to win tournament

Le Nuit Des Titans 2013 took place tonight in France. The event featured a 4-man 160 lb tournament with Aikpracha Meenayothin, Karim Ghajji, Yohan Lidon, and Yuri Bessmertny. In the semi-finals of the tournament Aikpracha Meenayothin defeated Yuri Bessmertny by extra round decision, and Karim Ghajji defeated Yohan Lidon by decision.

In the tournament finals Ghajji scored a huge victory when he knocked out Aipracha in the first round. Aikpracha had been steam rolling his competition over the last few years, so for Ghajji to be able to stop him in one round is huge.

In other action Fabio Pinca defeated Yak Dam from Thailand by decision.

Push Kick Promotions "Thailand vs. The Americas" set for August 18th in Pomona, CA

Push Kick Promotions has officially announced their August 18th event in Pomona, CA. Muay Thai World Stand Off – Thailand vs. The Americas will take place at the Pomona Fairplex and will feature four Thai fighters against four American fighters. The matches will be Aikpracha Meenayotin vs. Ky Hollenbeck, Rung Reung Chai vs. Michael Mananquil, Lerdsila Chumpairtour vs. Rami Ibrahim, and Neungsiam Samphusri vs. Ognjen Topic.

Aikpracha recently defeated Fabio Pinca and is continuously active in Thailand; known as “The Hitman” his aggressive style should make for an exciting match with Hollenbeck. After suffering his first career loss late in 2011, Hollenbeck bounced back nicely at the Legends Muay Thai event in San Francisco on April 28th. He scored a speedy first round (T)KO over Cyrus Washington. Both fighters are expected to be busy before they meet, with Hollenbeck being part of the Glory World Series and Aikpracha as usual remaining active on the Thai fight circuit.

Results and Recap: La Nuit Des Titans

Fabio Pinca and Aikpracha Meenayotin met in the main event of La Nuit Des Titans in France. Pinca was originally scheduled to fight Buakaw, but Aikpracha was brought in as a replacement late last week.

Aikpracha was in control of the fight from the opening bell. Pinca started the fight rather slow, but as it went on he picked up the pace and started to get more aggressive. Aikpracha, who is known for his aggressive style was more than ready to oblige an aggressive Pinca. Despite Pinca’s efforts to turn up the Pace, Aikpracha remained in control as he was clearly the stronger of the two when they clinched and he was able to land his strikes more effectively. Aikpracha took home a decision victory over Pinca.

Update: Buakaw missing, Aikpracha Meenayotin replaces him against Fabio Pinca

The news regarding Buakaw's disappearance has left Muay Thai fans with many questions. MuayThaiTV.com has confirmed that the fight with Fabio Pinca is officially cancelled and Aikpracha Meenayotin will be replacing him. In addition they informed Muay Thai Authority that several of Buakaw's other commitments have been cancelled.

According to our sources, Buakaw had a falling out with his camp due to monetary issues and differences over his strength and conditioning coach being released. He was expected to board a plane to Japan with the Thai Minister for an exhibition match to help promote some of his upcoming bouts and generate interest, but Buakaw never showed up.

Cosmo, Aikpracha, Mananquil, Saiyok, Rungrave and James rumored for October M-One event

M-One is looking to make an impact on the Muay Thai scene with their upcoming October event at Club Nokia in Los Angeles, CA. The event currently scheduled for October 21st is already expected to feature a fight between American Joe Schilling and Thai Kaoklai Kaennorsing. Muay Thai Authority, however, has confirmed with a source close to the situation that three more fights are currently being worked on. Nothing is official and the bouts should only be considered as rumors for now. The three fights rumored to be in the works for the October 21st event at Club Nokia are Cosmo Alexandre vs. Aikpracha Meenayotin, Michael Mananquil vs. Saiyok Pumpanmuang­ and Rungravee Sasiprapa vs. Dean James.

William Sriyapai replacing Ivan Busarov at July 16th Push Kick promotions event

William "The Bull" Sriyapai has been added to Push Kick promotions July 16th event at the Pomona Fairplex. Sriyapai will be replacing Ivan Busarov who was set to face Ekpracha "Hitman" Menton.

Sriyapai will be looking to get back on the winning track after dropping a unanimous decision to Baxter Humby at IFS 7 "New Blood" last month. The change comes a few days after Muay Thai Authority confirmed that Kevin Ross will in fact not be fighting at the event against Lerdsila "Mr. Lightning".

Aikpracha Meenayotin wins Toyota Vigo Tournament

Aikpracha Meenayotin  bested a field of eight fighters to win the 154lb Toyota Vigo Tournament, which took place on October 29th in Udon Thani Stadium, Thaliand.

The tournament included representative from eight different countries, with the U.S.A. being represented by Cyrus Washington from Michigan. The entire tournament field included the following fighter:
