WGP #27 Fight Card

WGP #27 is set to take place at the Clube Hebraica Em Laranjeiras in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on November 21st. The event will feature some of Brazil's top fighters.

The main event will feature a bout between Thiago Michel vs. Fernando Nato for Michel's 78kg WGP Championship. In the co-main event Wallace Lopes will take on Weber "Shrek" and in the night's 78kg tournament the semi-final match ups will be Jorge Daniel vs. Diego "Gaucho and Victor Valenzuela vs. Ruan Ferreira.

WGP 25 Results: Pereira earns decision over Almeida

WGP 25 took place this past weekend in Sao Paulo, Brazil and Glory standout Alex Pereira was in action. The rubber match between Pereira and Cesar Almeida took place at the event, each fighter had won one fight by decision over the other. Pereira ended up the winner by decision over Almeida taking home the lead in their rivalry 2-1.

There was also a one night 4-man tournament which was won by Bruno Gazani. He defeated Wallace Lopes by third round (T)KO in the tournament final.

2013 K-1 World MAX Final 16 fighters

The 2013 K-1 World MAX Final 16 is set for September 14, 2013 in Mallorca, Spain. Some of the biggest news to come from K-1 recently is that Buakaw Banchamek will be fighting in the tournament alongside fighters like Andy Souwer and Abraham Roqueni. 

Two North American fighters will also be active in the tournament. Canada's Shanes Campbell and America's Joey Pagliuso will look to stun the Kickboxing world when they step into the ring on September, 14. A win for either fighter would be huge, but a solid showing in the tournament would also help raise their stock.
