Saenchai no longer participating in league portion of the MPL, replaced by Saiyok

The Muaythai Premier League has announced some bad news for fans of Muay Thai. Saenchai Sinbimuaythai will not be participating in the promotion's league portion any longer due to scheduling conflicts. Despite the bad news of Saenchai not being part of the league format anymore there is a silver lining in that he has been replaced by Saiyok Pumpanmuang a former Rajadamnern champion and current Lumpinee Stadium super welterweight champion. The Muaythai Premier League has released the following statement.

"Due to scheduling conflicts with his many upcoming fights, Saenchai SinbiMuayThai of Thailand has been withdrawn from the League portion of the MPL. We are extremely disappointed by this news. However, fans will still be able to see Saenchai at our events as he will be scheduled for Superfights. His first appearance will be on the Second MPL event. His replacement in the League will be Saiyok Pumpanmuang."

Saiyok was the 2010 winner of the Muaythai Ambassador of the Year award which was presented by the Society of Journalist in Bangkok, Thailand. Saiyok has not lost since early 2008, the string of wins includes victories over names such as Andrei Kulebin, Cedric Muller, Antuan Siangboxing, Armen Petrosyan, Singsiri Por Sirichai and Bruce McFie (2x) to name a few. With an already stacked field set for the Muaythai Premier League's welterweight division it will be interesting to see if Saiyok can add some more names to his current streak.
